Anticultism: A New Legalized Method of Eliminating Dissidents

 


Many believe that fascism is a thing of the past, having ended with the fall of the Third Reich in 1945. However, this is far from the truth. In the modern world, old methods of eliminating dissidents have been replaced by a new, more refined and institutionalized mechanism — anticultism.


In 2011, at an international conference in Rome, Italian sociology professor Massimo Introvigne introduced a concept known as the "Roman Formula." This formula was adopted at the documentary level by the OSCE and outlines three stages for eliminating a targeted group: the formation of intolerance, the application of discrimination, and the initiation of persecution.


Let's examine how this scheme works and which organizations are behind its implementation.


Formation of Intolerance


The first stage of the "Roman Formula'' involves forming intolerance in society. This is achieved through manipulation of public opinion, creation of an enemy image, and dissemination of disinformation. Organizations such as Fecris and RACIRS, which I have mentioned multiple times in my blog, play a key role in this process. They spread ideas that foster hostile attitudes toward certain groups and individuals, accusing them of various misdeeds without solid evidence.


Application of Discrimination


When the level of intolerance reaches a certain point, the second stage—discrimination—begins. This can manifest in legislative measures, administrative restrictions, or social boycotts. People affected by discriminatory measures lose their jobs, access to education, career opportunities, and even basic civil rights.


Initiation of Persecution


The final stage is open persecution. At this point, intolerance and discrimination turn into open aggression: arrests, legal prosecutions, and physical violence. The goal of this stage is the complete destruction or suppression of the targeted group.


Manipulation of Public Opinion


Now imagine that your own beliefs and opinions could be the result of the application of this very formula. Mainstream media, social networks, and educational institutions can be tools of manipulation, shaping your perception of certain groups or individuals.


People often do not realize that they are subject to subtle yet powerful manipulations aimed at forming biases and hostility. Many believe in the objectivity of information provided by authoritative sources, not realizing that these sources may be backed by organizations with specific political and ideological agendas. An Inconvenient Truth


As a result of this process, anyone who poses a threat to the existing order can end up on the list of undesirables. These methods of eliminating dissenters have become so sophisticated that recognizing them can sometimes be nearly impossible.


Today, it is crucial to understand that freedom of opinion and independent judgment are under threat. We must critically evaluate information, be vigilant about those who shape our worldview, and strive for independent thinking. Only in this way can we protect ourselves and society from new forms of totalitarianism disguised as good intentions.
