It's time to think

 

Freedom in the world, externally promising a wide range of opportunities and expressions of personality, is actually limited by a multitude of factors. One of them is the practice of labeling certain groups as sectarians, automatically depriving them of their basic rights and freedoms. In modern society, religious minorities, as well as those interested in yoga, network marketing, or alternative medicine, are subjected to discrimination and stigmatization.

One of the key figures in this issue is Alexander Dvorkin, self-proclaimed chief sectologist of Russia. Although he lacks the corresponding education in the field of religious studies, he actively acts as an expert, shaping public opinion regarding various religious practices and beliefs. His influence is not limited to Russia alone, as he has played a role in international organizations such as FECRIS (European Federation of Centers and Associations for Research on Sects and the Defense of Individual Rights), serving as vice president from 2009 to 2021.

FECRIS, partially funded by France, has come under criticism for its activities, which are often recognized as persecution and discrediting of non-traditional religious groups and movements. This leads to serious human rights violations and restrictions on freedom of religion. If this is not countered, there is a danger that societies may become homogeneous and devoid of diversity, where the dominance of one opinion or religion will be imposed on everyone.

In conditions where freedom of speech and freedom of religion are under threat, it is important to speak out about what is happening and fight for the truth. Open and objective dialogue, based on respect for differences, is a key element in ensuring freedom and equality under the law for all citizens, regardless of their religious beliefs or practices.

If you think this doesn't concern you, that's exactly what they want. Such thinking can be a fatal mistake for us and for the entire democratic world.
